DMCA / Intellectual Property Takedown Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2025

Melori respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users, partners, and vendors to do the same. This policy explains how to submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512, how to send a counter-notification, and how we handle repeat infringement. This policy is for convenience only and is not legal advice.

Melori is a brand of COSMO TRADE LLC (“Melori,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1) Designated DMCA Agent

Send DMCA notices and counter-notifications to our designated agent:

DMCA Agent – Melori (COSMO TRADE LLC)

Email: support@melori.com (subject: “DMCA Notice” or “DMCA Counter-Notice”)

Address: 11149 W 95TH ST UNIT 59, OVERLAND PARK, KS 66214, USA

Phone: +1 888 407 1066

Important: Email is preferred for fastest processing. Physical mail may result in delays. We may forward your notice (including contact details) to the user or third party that posted the content.

2) What this policy covers

Copyright: DMCA applies to copyright-protected works (e.g., images, text, audio/video, product photos, manuals).

Other IP (e.g., trademarks): See Section 7 below for non-DMCA complaints.

We may host or display manufacturer assets and user-submitted content (e.g., product reviews). If you believe something on melori.com infringes your rights, use the steps below.

3) How to submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To request removal/disablement of allegedly infringing material, your notice must include all items required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

• Signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf (physical or electronic).

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list for multiple works).

• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on our Site (a specific URL for each item is best).

• Contact information of the complaining party: name, address, telephone number, and email address.

• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Send your complete notice to the DMCA Agent listed above. Incomplete notices may be delayed or rejected.

What happens next

• We will review your notice and may remove or disable access to the material expeditiously.

• We may notify the user/uploader and forward your notice.

• If we remove/disable content, we will make a good-faith attempt to notify the affected user.

512(f) caution

Knowingly misrepresenting that content is infringing may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

4) How to submit a DMCA Counter-Notification

If your content was removed or disabled and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. §512(g). Your counter-notice must include:

• Your signature (physical or electronic).

• Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed/disabled (the exact URL(s)).

• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.

Send your counter-notice to our DMCA Agent above.

What happens next

• If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant.

• Unless the complainant notifies us within 10–14 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity, we may restore the material.

5) Repeat infringer policy

In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we may terminate accounts or block access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to protect their works.

6) Sufficiency, format, and processing

Provide clear URLs and specifics for each item at issue. Vague or blanket requests are difficult to process.

We may request additional information to verify claims.

Our response may include removing/disablement, contacting suppliers or users, or declining action if we cannot verify a claim.

7) Trademark and other non-DMCA complaints

For alleged trademark infringement or other IP concerns (not covered by the DMCA), email support@melori.com with:

• Your full contact details;

• The mark at issue (word/design), registration number (if any), and jurisdiction;

• The specific URL(s) on our Site where the issue appears;

• A description of why you believe there is infringement (e.g., likelihood of confusion, misuse of logo/branding);

• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized and that the information is accurate.

We will review non-DMCA complaints under our Terms and applicable law and take action in our discretion.

8) No legal advice; policy updates

This page is for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
